Chargers @ Jets

The Jets had a big win on MNF by relying on their defense and sticking to a gameplan. San Diego is an extremely talented team. Can they travel into Metlife stadium from the west coast and steal a win? The Jets need this win to keep pace in the AFC East and keep momentum going.

Bears at Buccaneers

Dallas 16 - New England 20

The Dallas Cowboys were able to keep the Patriots under 30 points for the first time in 13 games, however QB Tom Brady threw a game winning TD pass in the closing seconds to give NE the win.

Madden Note - Dallas had a chance to run out the clock but couldn't pick up a first down. Knowing your go to run formation or quick pass that assures a completion is HUGE in this situation. Also on defense, saving your timeouts is a huge way to get that one more possesion.

Giants 27 Buffalo 24-

Panthers @ Falcons

The Falcons remain home to take on a feisty Panthers team this week.

Atlanta must win this home divisional matchup to remain in the playoff conversation. While Carolina hasn't had as many wins as they hoped this season, they have been in every game and given their fans something to be excited about. WR Steve Smith is reenergized and really put pressure on the defense each week. For Atlanta, WR Julio Jones may be out of the lineup with a hamstring, so veteran Roddy White will have to step up.

Packers 25 - Atlanta 15 

The Green Bay Packers showed why they are one of the most popular teams in Madden NFL 12. Despite falling behind by 14 points, they were able to rally back and scored 25 unanswered. Often times, teams crumble on the road when they get behind, but GB thrived and improved to 5-0. 

Madden Tip: Don't look for the big play, simply allow it to happen. Even players like James Jones who lack elite speed can still go the distance in the right situation (70 Yard TD) 

Tennessee at Pittsburgh - The Titans look to upset the Steelers in this road matchup. Steelers QB "Big Ben" is questionable with an ankle injur along with RB Rashard Mendenhall due to a hamstring. Matt Hasselback has stayed healthy and provided a spark to this Titans team, while star RB Chris Johnson looks to get back on track. Pitt is coming off a loss to Houston and will need some homecooking in this matchup to get the win!

Madden Note - The Steelers best option at HB is Mendenhall and their depth slides off if he can't play this week

There is no doubt the biggest story in the NFL yesterday was the Lions epic comeback against the Dallas Cowboys who stumbled down the stretch. QB Tony Romo threw 3 second half interception which allowed the Lions a chance to get back in the game. WR Calvin Johnson continued his red zone dominance and hauled in the GW score! 

The New York Giants defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in a hard fought matchup 29-16. The Giants were able to play tough defense and get some timely plays against the talented Eagles squad. QB Mike Vick went out of the game with an injured right hand and his replacement Mike Kafka was unable to mount a comeback, instead throwing 2 interceptions.

Madden Notes - Look for Giants LB J. Williams and WR V. Cruz to get big boosts after solid games.

Most NFL Pundits didn't select New England Vs Buffalo as a hot matchup at the start of the season, however, both teams come into Week 3 at 3-0! QB Tom Brady is on a record pace after two huge weeks throwing the ball. Buffalo has been lightning up the scoreboard as well, with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick leading his team to a late comeback last week.

Bills 

The Bills rallied late and won on a 4th down play from Fitzpatrick to David Nelson. Buffalo starts 2-0 and will travel to New England this weekend to play the Patriots who are also 2-0! The Buffalo offense has been very potent, but it will be great to see how their defense matches up against a juggernaut like the Patriots.

Eagles VS Falcons is a top game on the slate this week with Atlanta needing to rebound after suffering a big defeat in Week 1.

Mike Vick travels back to Atlanta to face the team he was drafted by.
